Abstracts Submission Guidelines

The oral presentation of the lectures and oral communications may be in Portuguese or English.

The visual (written) support of the lectures and oral communications must be in English.

The abstracts selected for oral communication will be published in a special volume of the scientific journal European Journal of Public Health. Indexed Magazine: MEDLINE, Index Medicus, Scopus, Journal Citation Reports Evaluated by Thomson Reuters (ISI) with Impact Factor 2,234

Submission must be made electronically by May 8th, considering the conditions presented below.

The body of the text cannot contain any element that allows the identification of the authors, subject to the non-acceptance of the work.

Please read the entire contents of this section carefully before submitting your abstract:

1. Abstracts, mandatorily written in English (UK), should be structured under the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion. The word limit is 250 words.
2. Please ensure that the title is bold.
3. Please format author names as Initial(s) Surname – there should be no full points after the initials.
4. Add three to five key words using terms from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) list of Index Medicus when possible.

Awards

Prize will be awarded for the best oral communication and the best poster.
