Welcome Message

The University of Minho is very pleased to announce the 10th International Conference on Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements (MAIREPAV10), which will be held in Guimarães on July 24-26, 2024.

MAIREPAV10 conference aims to promote and discuss the state-of-the-art on design, assessment, observation, maintenance, rehabilitation, and management of pavements.

MAIREPAV10 is focused on sustainable maintenance and rehabilitation of pavements which is becoming a key challenge in most countries. Thus, the primary objective of this conference is to exchange state-of-the-art know-how and innovation among researchers, government and private agencies, consultants and constructors for building and maintaining long-lasting road pavements.

Venue

The conference will be held at the Centro Cultural Vila Flor, Guimarães, Portugal. You can arrive at Guimarães by flying to Oporto Airport and then taking a car, train, or bus.

Guimarães is known to be one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Portugal. It is also well known as the cradle of Portugal because the first king of Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques (from 1143 to 1185), was born in this city.

On 13th December 2001, UNESCO declared Guimarães a World Heritage site. The university campus is situated about a 15-minute walk from Guimarães downtown.
