Hélio Bragança da Silva is a Physiotherapist and Professor at the Egas Moniz School of Health and Science, and a visiting professor at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Leiria (ESSLei).

With a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, his areas of interest focus on Cardiovascular Health, Diabetes, Obesity, and issues related to Social Determinants and Equity in Health.

He is member of the Portuguese Society for Health Literacy, where he has developed and coordinated several community intervention actions, particularly among migrant populations.
