Dr. Daniel Langer is a respiratory physiotherapist and Associate Professor of Rehabilitation Sciences at KU Leuven, Belgium. His research focuses on optimizing respiratory physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabilitation, with particular interests in respiratory and limb muscle dysfunction, and (mechanisms underlying) symptom alleviation in chronic respiratory disease and critical illness. He has authored more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, serves as Associate Editor for several international journals, and is a regular invited speaker at major respiratory congresses.
