Abstract Submission Guidelines

WASOG 2026 will accept abstracts of clinical cases or clinical series in addition to case series reviews and original papers, evaluating them separately.

All abstracts must be submitted as posters and in English. Please note that each first author may submit a maximum of three abstracts.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: March 15, 2026
• Notification to authors: April 15, 2026

Abstracts must follow the required structure

For original papers: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

For clinical cases: Introduction, Clinical Case Description, and Conclusions.

Abstracts without final results or conclusions will not be accepted. The text must be no longer than 300 words.

Authors must indicate whether the paper is an original paper or a clinical case/case series, and select the most appropriate topic:

• Challenges in Sarcoidosis Diagnosis and Staging
• Controversies in Sarcoidosis Treatment
• Cardiac Sarcoidosis
• Special Topics in Extrathoracic Sarcoidosis
• Sarcoidosis Associated Fatigue
• Genetics and Immunopathology: Advances in Contemporary Understanding and Prospects for Future Research

However, the Scientific Committee may change the final classification of the topic.

Forms of Presentation

Abstracts must be submitted exclusively online using the form. All accepted papers will be presented in person as posters.
