Dr Amira Benattia is a pulmonologist and researcher specialising in pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (PLCH) and other rare cystic lung diseases. She is involved in the multidisciplinary management of patients with histiocytosis, with a particular interest in disease phenotyping, prognosis, and imaging biomarkers. Her research explores the phenotypic characterisation and prognostic assessment of PLCH through functional and biological biomarkers, quantitative CT imaging, and innovative computational approaches such as topological data analysis applied to thoracic imaging. Her work aims to improve the understanding of disease heterogeneity and clinical evolution in PLCH.
