Claudia Ravaglia is a pulmonologist, senior clinical researcher at the University of Bologna (Italy) and lead of the Interstitial Lung Disease Unit at GB Morgagni Hospital (Forlì, Italy). Her clinical and research activities focus on interstitial lung diseases (ILDs), sarcoidosis, post-COVID lung disease, and advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy (particularly transbronchial lung cryobiopsy), contributing to cryobiopsy implementation, standardization, and integration into multidisciplinary ILD diagnosis. She is member of the international ERS task force that developed recent classification frameworks for fibrosing ILDs, the international ERS task that produced the ERS guidelines on transbronchial lung cryobiopsy in the diagnosis of ILD and chair of the ERS international task force on post- COVID interstitial lung disease.
