Claudia Valenzuela is a pulmonary physician at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, Madrid, where she is also Chair of the multidisciplinary ILD Unit in the Pulmonology Department.

Her special research interests include rare pulmonary diseases, interstitial lung diseases ,such as idiopathic interstitial pneumonias, specially IPF.

Dr Valenzuela has participated as a researcher in several clinical trials in IPF and other fibrotic ILDs, and is actively involved in national and international scientific activities related to this field.
