Dr. Jacobo Sellarés is a Consultant Pulmonologist at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, where he coordinates the Interstitial Lung Disease program. His research focuses on sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis and smoking-related lung disease. He is Deputy Coordinator of the ERN-LUNG Sarcoidosis Core, co-lead of the ERS Clinical Research Collaboration SARCOIDOMICS, secretary of the ERS sarcoidosis assembly and Principal Investigator of PREDICT-SARC (Fundació La Marató). He serves as site investigator in several international sarcoidosis trials (OWEP, EFZO-FIT) and co-coordinates the Spanish SEPAR sarcoidosis registry (SARCO-1). During 2026 he is Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University.
