Katerina Antoniou is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the School of Medicine, University
of Crete, Greece, and leads the ILD and Severe Asthma program at the University Hospital of
of Heraklion. She is the Head of the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Pneumonology,
School of Medicine, UOC, with focus in translational research in ILDs and Asthma.
She served as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (2015-2017) and was Co-ordinator &
member of Public Relationship Committee of University of Crete (2016-2019).
She is Fellow of European Respiratory Society (ERS), member of Executive Committee of
World Association for Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders (WASOG) and
member of the working group of chronic lung diseases of Pulmonary Vascular Research
Institute (PVRI).
