Dr. Michelle Sharp is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and serves as co-Director of the Johns Hopkins Sarcoidosis Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University and her Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sharp completed both her residency and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins, where she also served as Assistant Chief of Service on the Osler Medical Service.
Under her leadership, the Johns Hopkins Sarcoidosis Program was designated a Center of Excellence by the World Association for Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders. She is an NIH-funded investigator whose research focuses on improving clinical outcomes for individuals living with sarcoidosis.
